Welcome to West Hampstead Hockey Club

West Hampstead Hockey Club is a thriving community-based club located in the heart of West Hampstead. Cumberland Lawn Tennis Club is our parent club. Our club currently has nine men’s and seven women’s teams who compete in various leagues and competitions throughout London.

We pride ourselves on our club’s social scene, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Training nights

Training sessions run weekly from Monday - Thursday evenings at Whitefield School from 20:00 - 22:00. If you're not sure which session to attend please contact our mens club captain (mens-club-captain@whhc.uk) or womens club captain (womens-club-captain@whhc.uk) and they will be able to point you in the right direction.

Membership and Fees

At West Hampstead Hockey Club, we operate on a membership and match fee basis. We offer a variety of membership categories to suit different needs:

All membership types can be paid in instalments.

Match Fees

In addition to your membership subscription, a match fee of £12.00 per game (£8.00 for students and goalkeepers) applies for each fixture you play. This fee ensures we can provide everything needed for a great match day experience, including:

Umpires: Covering the costs of qualified officials for your games.
Pitch Hire: Ensuring access to pitches for all fixtures.
Team Equipment: Including essentials like first aid supplies and warm-up balls.
Match Teas: Enjoy a warm meal after every game – the perfect way to wrap up a day of hockey!
