England Hockey
Stage 4: Your consent is required
Every participant of WHHC events needs to complete the Individual Consent for Participating in Hockey under Covid-19 Restrictions. This needs to be completed 24 hours before the first event you attend and only needs to be completed once.
On Friday the 7th of August, England Hockey announced the progression to Stage 4. This means that we are able to return to 'normal' play with groups of up to 30 on each pitch at a time.
Over the last week we have reviewed the new guidance; updated our risk assessment with the school and ready to share our plans with the CLTC.
The most important part of returning to hockey will be protecting players, coaches, officials; and in turn the availability of the sport.
England hockey has worked with the government and set out a 'track and trace' system for all participants of England Hockey and thier affiliated organisations.
This means each participant needs to complete the Individual Consent for Participating in Hockey under Covid-19 Restrictions form before attending any WHHC organised events. This only needs to be completed once. This needs to be completed 24 hours before the first event you attend.
In addition, each player and coach needs to check-in via the club 'track and trace' form on the day of each session they attend; there is a poster (with link and QR code) at the pitches, as a reminder.
Once we start playing league fixtures we will look to amend how we track attendance, but will still require you to check-in for each training session.
Please keep an eye out on the newsletter for further updates.
