England Hockey 2023 Pulse Survey for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
England Hockey has created a quick pulse survey on your season, it will take no more than 4 minutes to complete. We would like to hear your views on inclusion this season, in the game and clubs.
Below is the lastest update from England Hockey about returning to play the article was originally posted here.
There will be the option to enter a prize draw at the end as a thank you for completing the survey. There are 3 £50 vouchers for the England Hockey shop and winners will be picked at random after the close of the survey.
This is optional and won’t be connected to England Hockey's data analysis.
Some questions have been taken from the More Inclusive Sport Survey in 2021 so we can compare results. England Hockey wants to understand where we can make things better for more people in the game.
At the end of the survey, England Hockey also will be asking some questions about you, it is anonymous, and we are only analysing aggregated results - not individual answers.
England Hockey wants our sport to be reflective of society in England. This means that this part of the survey has some standardised questions for people to complete voluntarily so that we can compare our participants against local and national populations. Currently, England Hockey do have some good data collection in parts of the game, but not across the sport as a whole. Collecting good demographic data helps us build up an accurate picture of who is taking part, but also when combined with qualitative data on people’s experiences, England Hockey can start to understand where the game could do more to improve opportunities for certain parts of society. Where possible, we have used the questions from Census 2021.
The survey will close on Friday 7th April 2023.
